Work on the Judenburg municipal power plant is visibly progressing. The team from Kostmann, together with all project stakeholders, is implementing one of the region’s most significant infrastructure projects. The result will be a power plant that will generate approximately 27.3 GWh of renewable electricity annually.
The project requires a tremendous amount of work: Approximately 21,000 m³ of concrete and 2,400 metric tons of structural steel will be used, while challenging tasks in the areas of river engineering, underwater dredging, and dewatering are being carried out simultaneously. At the same time, extensive accompanying environmental measures ensure that technical innovation and responsibility toward nature and the environment go hand in hand.
Step by step, a sustainable infrastructure project is taking shape that will supply the region with clean energy over the long term and strengthen the Murtal Valley for future generations.
