An important infrastructure project is currently under construction in Kals am Großglockner: the new Haslach Gallery on the L26 Kalser Landesstraße. In future, it will ensure safe access to the municipality all year round, making avalanche closures a thing of the past. This structure is of great importance for the security of supply of the population - from commuters to medical care.
The gallery will be 200 meters long. It will require 6,300 m³ of concrete and around 65,000 m³ of earthmoving. In addition, a dedicated cycle path will be built outside the structure, which will significantly increase safety for cyclists.
The Kostmann team is building this structure with great commitment and technical expertise. The Haslachgalerie is a structure that goes far beyond pure engineering - it is a contribution to safety, quality of life and the future for the entire region. Completion is scheduled for September 2026 at the latest.
